The Syndicat National des Courtiers en Pommes de Terre held its Annual General Meeting

On Saturday March 26, 2022, the SNCPT (Syndicat National des Courtiers en Pommes de Terre) held its Annual General Meeting in Paris at the same time as the AGM of the FFSCM (Fédération Française des Syndicats de Courtiers en Marchandise), to which the SNCPT belongs.

This AGM was an opportunity for its members to get together and draw up a positive balance sheet after 2 years of Covid, even if its President Yves Roussineau (ill from Covid) held this AGM by videoconference. On the one hand, the quotation agreement with CNIPT has been renewed for 4 years, and SNCPT will continue to provide quotations every 15 days for fresh potatoes. These quotations are also available on their new website (www.sncpt.org) and published in the pomme de terre hebdo. It was also an opportunity to confirm that the next generation of brokers is assured with the presence of Léa Roussineau (Ets Roussineau) and David Storper (Maison Mendel).

For the record, the SNCPT board is composed as follows: Yves Roussineau (ETS Roussineau) Chairman, Jean Marc Storper (Maison Mendel) Vice-Chairman, Yves Le Bouedec (Ets Levesque) Treasurer. The other members of the SNCPT are : Silvana Paolozzi (Sté Jacques Albert), Michèle Adoardi (sté Desruelles courtage), Christelle Denis (Sarl D.Vegetables), Jérôme Bonnier (Sté JB Grains).

The SNCPT is one of the families making up the CNIPT, and as such is a signatory to interprofessional agreements, as well as being a member of the SEMAE (interprofessional seed and seedlings association) potato plant section. So it’s a very active union at the service of the potato industry!
